Find and run from your “Start” menu “PuTTY”
In the “Host Name (or IP address)” box type the name of the server you want to connect to (i.e. mars.nwcg.gov)
Select the “SSH” radio button under “Protocol”
Type a name for the session under “Saved Sessions”
Click on “Save”
